Totally Brady

Ok now on to the step-children. Although it is near impossible to love anyone like you love your own children, I would have to say I love them as close as possible as my own. Sheldon is a brilliant 15 year old who has handled many challenges that would defeat most his age. He has a burning desire to learn and is definately one of the best negotiaters for his age that I ever been around. He loves technology and will certainly find a successful life in that field.

Madison is 12 year old beautiful girl who desperately wants to be 13 so that she's not an icky "pre-teen" and so she can get her own VisaBuxx credit card. What 7th grader doesn't? She loves awful bubble-gum teeny bopper music but is usually considerate about NOT sharing it with us. She loves her phone to text but rarely answers or calls, she loves her iPod for her tunes but goes days without charging it and just listens to the music in her mind. She, like her mother is a gifted artist with a natural knack for expression through it. I don't know where her art journey will take her but it will be creative and wonderful when it does. She is currently aspiring to be a photographer, but hey she's 12 and that could change. I am glad she doesn't want to be a model or actress, because waiting tables can be a drag!

And here they are! Make sure to check out their slide shows at the boottom of this page!

California Girl

My Daughter Erika lives in Southern Cal with her mom and her husband. She is a freshman in high school and just left from here after a 5 week summer stay. She has a lot, I mean a LOT of energy. While here she discovered "You Tube" and watched about a thousand videos. Mostly music and comedy like FHV and stuff. She is in to the "SCENE" look which hopefully is a pursuit of identity phase. Trust me she is no SCENE girl. Those girls are surly, goth, precocious and wear weird clothes, but yet try to throw in a cuteness with bright colors, hello kitty and so on. I suppose there are worse things for girls to be in to. It kind of reminds me of the Madonna phenomenom with the super lacey femine accents, yet broadcasting a "wild girl" vibe with the hair, make up and clothes. It was, this is, no more no less. Anyway, I digress. Erika was an absolute joy to have her here and we look forward to her next stay.

She was here for our family reunion and had a lot of fun with her cousins. Highlights were watching her play basketball; a natural, playing horseshoes; a disaster! HILARIOUS. Leaf boats. A video is posted below. Its already on her You tube profile. Her and Madi are soul sisters for sure.

Some Stuff and the learning curve

I just realized I have a lot to learn about blogging.

In the meantime I am going to be putting up some of my favorite pics and maybe some stories. I might get the guts to log a journal, someday soon!

Anyway, the other day my oldest daughter Julia sent a pic from her phone. It was of her and my next daughter Megan. It reminded me so much of one of my favorite pictures of them I am going to post them side by side (I think I can pull it off).

What a difference two decades makes! But still just as CUTE!!

Which Slide Show is the Most Fun?
